"I am pleased to write this letter of support for Kathy Beckes, who I have known for several years as a real estate broker. Kathy was our listing agent for out 5 million dollar waterfront home on Mercer Island that recently sold. I found working with Kathy to be a pleasure. She is enthusiastic, hard working, creative, and honest. Kathy offered appropriate advice while at the same time listened to our ideas and tried to meet our needs. Kathy was easy to reach and prompt to return calls and e-mails. When we were in the market to look for a new home, she was organized in her approach to show us appropriate homes that were within our budget that fit the description of what we were looking for.
Both I, as well as my wife, thoroughly enjoyed working with Kathy and would not hesitate to enlist her services again in the future to either sell or purchase a home. We would not hesitate to recommend her to a friend who is in search of a well qualified real estate broker to market and sell their property or to purchase a property. Kathy is well qualified and her enthuiasm for what she does is infectious.
In summary, you would be hard pressed to find a more qualified real estate broker to work with if you are trying to purchase or sell a waterfront property."

"I am the successor trustee and a certified public accountant working on a sizable estate for one of my larger clients who passed away [a few years ago]. One of the major pieces of property was the home along with a large piece of property on Mercer Island. During the process of getting the property ready for sale, I interviewed various agents for the job of listing and selling the property. Kathy Beckes was the most energetic and prepared for the interview of all the different agents.
We signed up the property during the first week of May, 2011. Within a short period of time, Kathy was showing the property to a lot of different agents and potential buyers. She always kept me well informed about her progress and how excited she was regarding the property. Her enthusiasm definitely translated into potential buyers because things started happening quickly.
During this economic down period, and especially for real estate, Kathy was able to sell the property for a price higher than the property was appraised for only a few months prior. She even was able to have a full price back-up offer ready to go if the first one failed for any reason. The property was closed on June 30, 2011.
The beneficiaries of the estate are very happy with the results as was I. Also, I was very happy to not have signed up any of the other agents who were telling me that i would never get the appraised price from the property and would have to have the property on the market for a long time. Kathy did a great job and i would not hesitate to use her again on any other high end property in the area."
